Redline goods does not yet offer a wheel cover for the Focus. Any other suggestions? I'm in the same boat as the original poster.

You can get these leather steering wheel covers with the help of many companies but our auto seat skins is one of the best in making these type of automobile products. You can buy it within your budget.

I e-mailed the Alantara company and asked them if they made steeringwheel covers they dont. They make the material for the companies to make the cover. But the person I spoke with did offer to send me a sample of the material. So im crossing my fingers its enough to wrap the whole wheel. Option number 2 is go to a fabric store buy some suede and make it yourself. If I can figure it out I will post some pictures Im nervous I dont want to screw this one up. My luck they will send a 1 inch square. maybe I can glue that to the top of my wheel hahaha.

mjb457 & PMTGUY:

I installed a WheelSkins cover on my 98 Mustang GT and it was superb. The installation was a bit of a bear (you have to pull the nylon cord pretty tight and if you don't wear gloves then your fingers will get chewed up...) but the color was a match for the original leather and the cover made the wheel a bit thicker so it was much more comfortable to hold. If I have another leather wear issue on a steering wheel, I will buy another WheelSkins cover.

HTH,

Chris

An alternative, get this steering wheel!

http://www.carid.com/2013-ford-focus...-11985141.html

You can get the Platinum Silver color to match the shiny bits around the steering wheel controls

Hey guys, I just hung up from Daniel Hunt at car ID.com regarding the B&I custom steering wheel--sport version, leather with black carbon.

He's offering a discount of about $33 off of the on-line price of $303, and that includes free shipping.

I will post pix once installed.
