It's odd because one of my FB friends posted a picture of a real, local example this morning. IMO the remake exudes none of the charisma of the original. It looks like a cheap imitation...sort of like a Fiero-rarri.

Agreed, the Challenger was spot on for a modern remake. The Superbirds and Daytonas were based off of the Charger and Roadrunner, not the Callenger and Barracuda. Hence, why they never look right. The two platforms were very different and still, share none of the features needed to make a replica out of one.

Its much like the "new" Firebirds. They took parts from various generations and put them on a remake of the 1st generation.
