So the statement should be amended to "IMO motorcycles are a legal form of assisted suicide..."? With so many distracted drivers and drivers on prescription medicine that affects their motor skills and drivers just generally exhausted along with so many just plain bad drivers I think motorcycles are an accident waiting to happen. I did ride sport bikes on the roads for about 20 years by the way but I won't do it anymore. It's just not fun dodging all the freaks and close calls.

I've been riding since 1977, 3 Hondas, 2 Harleys. It's not so different now as it was way back when. I use my peripheral vision the same today as I had to back in '78 when someone tried to run me off the road several times.

Pay attention to what's around you no matter what you drive. I have no accidents on my record at speed, but I've been hit 5 times while at a complete stop, in cars, by people not paying attention - none of them had cell phones. 4 times at stop signs and red lights, and the last time (17 years ago) while parked in a parking lot with the ignition off.

The ST has active torque steer compensation (via the power steering motor).

If you are feeling any significant torque steer, something is broken.

I noticed the snugness of the seats when I first got in the car. After that, it wasn't until a half hour after getting out of the car that I realized that I hadn't thought about the seats throughout the twenty minute test drive. I'm 5'13", 230'lbs.

I'm, shall we say, considerably larger, and I had the same reaction. First time I sat in the seats, I was thinking, "you gotta be kidding". I barely noticed by the end of the drive. Test drive #2, noticed at the start, then nothing. Drive #3, I didn't notice at all. It's mostly a matter of familiarity, I think, and what you're used to.

And they're really nice while driving. No need to jam your knee up against the console or door in a turn.

I like that much better than the hatch. I really like that a lot. $28,500 is a little pricey for my budget, but seems like a decent value overall for what you're getting.

Anyone know if the wheelbase changes on the Wagon vs the Hatch/Sedan? Kind of hard to tell from the angles in the pictures. Just trying to see if my mind is playing tricks on me, or if the car actually is "longer".
