Haven't been on FF for a while. (Busy with the car) I went ahead and bought a piston online. Slipped it in, installed new head, gaskets t-belt, and everything else. Did most if the work in one long Saturday. She is back on the road now. With about 1100 miles on the new equipment. Just did an oil change too. The egr valve got damaged by pieces of valve seat. And needed to be replaced along with new gaskets. Also had problem with fuel rail coming loose because I broke off one of the bolts. Tapped a new hole, hasn't leaked since.
