Topspeed Intake Manifold
Has anyone heard anything about it I've been searching a bit and haven't seen anything.

I just installed one and dynoed it on a Turbocharged Focus SVT
The good It did hold slightly better in the top end and kept pulling to 7600 and was still going There was no loss of HP or TQ over the stock SVT intake manifold , no gains till about 52-5500 Looks good on the car The Bad Had to spend over 4 Hrs of work to the manifold before I could bolt it all together , The weld on the top of the manifold held the ts adaptor off the manifold slightly and would of had a Vac leak , this must be a known issue because the adaptor was beveled to mis this issue The bracket that holds the throttle cable would not allow the cruise cable to hook up , the hole was in the bracket for it but the slot was not long enough so had to reslot the bracket Doesnt need 4 Vac ports The #4 runner didnt line up well with the SVT inner half of the SVT adaptor needed to use this intake it was off by about 5/16 of an inch , they did all the runners straight and only 1 runner is straight on the stock inner half of the SVT adaptor needed I didnt like how the TB part of the manifold points down and you have to do a sharp turn right at the TB to mis the Coil bracket and Batt , this could be raised with the adaptor or when building the manifold All in all I do feel all these issues could be addressed very easy and these problems will be gone This wasnt to start a pissing contect with ts if they want to talk about the issues and ideas how to correct them its up to them Tom

Basically, the intake is only worth the $500+ if you are boosted. Only really helps in top end, and would be a great alternative to the stock plastic manifold if going for high boost.
The header does make more power than svt exhaust manifold, but that $800+ could be spend on boost. The TS header would be great for a supercharged svt. All in all, you probably won't be satisfied without some sort of F/I. Posted via FF Mobile |

This is all "IF" you can ever get a response out of them and don't mind waiting forever to get parts.... I've called, emailed, pm'd, posted, ETC.... Nothing.. Done wasting time trying to support site sponsor who never responds... Cfm and Tom both have been very receptive and prompt in returning calls or sending parts..

I have the topspeed intake and I'm keeping the car N/A. I'm getting a dyno tune in November. So we will see what it does.
