What's wrong with Carmax? Just curious? I've never heard of anyone using them.

I see 2ng 2 doors all the time in Las Vegas. Probably none of them 5speeds though. And every one of yhem bone stock.

I would love to get one to make a track/race car. Just gut it, cage it, boost it, dropbit and drive the wee out of it. My goal would be for, 250whp and 2000lbs.

The 08' 2 doors that came with an automatic also get a lower final drive compared to the 4 door automatics. Just a little interesting factoid, thought I'd share it.

When they first started out they were somewhat competitive price wise, but nowadays they are $1500 - 2000 above fair market value and they are no haggle so there is no negotiating. They do have a 3 day no question asked return and all their cars come with a 30 day major components warranty. They really hard sell their extended warranties, also.

Also with Carmax they don't offer fair prices for any car you bring to them to buy. They were only going to give us 6k for our 00' VW Golf GTI VR6 which blue booked for over 13k (private seller price). We ended up selling it ourselves and sure glad we did.

I see lots of 09-11 coupes, but relatively few 08s.
2nd gen coupes were nice little cars, in my biased opinion
