There are some short Demo's on youtube. Looks like you get nav, games, movies, etc. I was surprised to see that they make one for the new focus 2012.

Let me know what you think..
Thanks for posting that - it's the only one I've seen that has the Car reverse control radar and CCD camera input supported. Nice find.

Edit: It's compatible with my Euro built Focus - now we're talking

Found this website with 3 different 2012 focus stereos...

http://www.tradesolution.hk

Go to specialties DVD player (on the left menu), then FORD series.

The website sells on eBay. I emailed him. 1 year waranty on the unit. If we can get a few of us to purchase at once we may be able to get wholesale prices. Anyone interested?

anyone tried movewell guys? If those screenshots are real then it has the best menu ive seen of those 3rd party ones. But i havent seen any video of them. Youtube videos are just a row of screenshots. Cant find a real performance video on whole google. Useless...

The seller on amazon told me that the pink-black menu is coming with their new firmware... Dont know what to believe.

what does 1din differs from 2 dins?

also the alibaba website has so many chinese ones for focus 2012. They are almost all the same. They are just different brands (thought to be), may have different button functions and some are 7 inch (most are 8 inch). I believe they are all manufactured the same way.

one got any of those ready one consoles? Found some russian videos with some but cant understand a thing..

I have a titanium with 3.5 monochrome screen , it has bluetooth cruise control, 6 speakers and voice commands.. Also shall the usb, aux, line in ports in the cupboard work with those ready consoles?

I also want to get the OEM ones (especially the 8inch touch screen system! )but they are difficult to find

If someone could provide me with links ( including somewhere available to buy) of what to buy to upgrade to 5 inch colored screen i would be happy. Thus none said where to put the sd card for navigation!

Can someone tell me if the equalisation for the component speakers happens BEFORE the amp, or at the crossovers at the amps. Reason I ask is that Ive got an Audio Control LC2I which can take a speaker signal and convert it to line level outputs, while also boosting bass at higher volumes. It's a nice unit.

HOWEVER, if I were to take say the wires for the mids right off the amp, and then run them to the LC2I, im curious if thats the full range signal right off the amp? Or if it would be a processed "mid only"

In previous pictures I saw some equiptment in the doors, and wasnt sure if it was a crossover , or?!?

Any thoughts?

Radio Replacement

I have been trying to find out about these oem replacement units, one thing its damn confusing.

If you have a basic focus, things are easy.
But if you have a Titanium X with Park assist(self parking) then it becomes a problem.

The fly audio supports everything apart from self parking, so this will be lost if you swap. But A/C doors front back sensors still show on screen.

http://www.car-vision.co.uk/ford-nav...ady-bt-hd.html

Most units have USB cable at the back - but again I can not find out how the glove compartment connects to the original head unit. But this could be an easy fix USB only use 4 core cable.

http://compare.ebay.co.uk/like/26107...bar&adtype=pla

The company above iceboxautos - very helpful and say this unit will work with everything - but again I have not tested. Still not sure about Self parking instruction on screen.

http://android-caraudio.com/en/ford/...ocus-2012.html

The above does say supports clock display? and looks great!

http://android-caraudio.com/en/ford/...eo-s-max-.html

another!

http://www.aliexpress.com/item/Ford-...584737450.html

Now look at the above site!! This seems like the all singing all dancing model

At these I have given you plenty of options - the one above looks the best - but do I risk taking the plunge!

Update!!

http://android-caraudio.com/en/ford/...eo-s-max-.html

Just replied:-

yes this model leaves the self-parking function unchanged since this function doesn't depend on the mutimedia system. it only displays the camera as it displayed on the original monitor.

I then asked to confirm if it will show the parking instruction On the 8" screen

reply:-

Yes the self- parking feature is totally independent from the multimedia set
and uses only its screen for displaying messages and camera image .
I just confirmed with factory in order to supply a 100% acertain and
accurate answer to your request.
Best regards
