That is standard issue with all satellite receivers. I had XM using Delphi receivers from 2001 to 2009 and on heavily wooded roads I would loose reception. The same held true with the built in Sirius radios in my 2010 Mustang and 2012 Focus. In fact there is an overpass near me when I drive under it, every XM and Sirius radio would loose reception. I know with XM they also broadcast a terrestrial signal in larger cities to handle issues with overpasses and tall buildings. I do not know if Sirius does the same.
