It is probably the best engineered hands down.

I just showed a cheaper option that I feel is jast as effective, as proven on my car.

It you make bank, you should forget the header and go turbo.

If you can keep off the gas, you should see an increase in fuel economy.

My mileage jumped from an average of 320-330 miles per tanks to about 350-360 miles per tank. Fixed my coil, back to normal driving and back to the 320-330 a tank.
wow you get that per tank...i havent even seen 275 per tank since before i did intake and exhaust

When I had my 2000 Kona with intake I averaged about 275-280 per tank. When I got the 2003 zx5 earlier this year I was pleasantly surprised to be averaging 320-330 with no mods at all except Ford Racing 9mm red spark plug wires. Drive it.just the same as I did the Kona and and the same route to work. Not sure if Ford revised the fuel maps and engine mgmt to get an increase in fuel efficiency or the Kona being a few years older just sucked more gas period. Just know the 3 years I had the Kona my mileage never changed. Once I get around to putting on my cai and doing my SVT header conversion(only need 1 more part) I will be curious to see what happens to my mileage in the zx5.

My mpg wasnt affected with a tune and svt header,orp,2.5"flex. Without the tune however it was worse than without the header.

Sounds more like a tuned 4cyl while cruising and I noticed a tq increase or maybe it just smoothed the power band out? I also noticed that even with a tune already for the OBX header the car leaned out so I had to add a little more fuel at WOT. That really made it feel a whole lot better. It's still way too obnoxiously loud though, and I'm already looking into putting a resonator in it to quiet it down. After driving the SVT with it's quiet speed I would like some of that. Beside Yeller's way to loud for how fast it is any ways lol.

I see almost 300 miles a tank. I want to see 320+ miles per tank. Plus I want that rumble

I make bank but I don't want forced induction on an automatic.

If you make bank why are you worried about $4 a tank? Your saying you want to get 20 more miles on a a tank. That's less than 1 gallon. You might be able to get that just by pulling the spare tire ( you have road side assistance right?). And only filling up with 1/2 a tank... no need to drive 150 miles with 6-7 gallons of in needed weight.

Why 320 miles? Is that the number you need for a full work week with only 1 fill up?

If you want the rumble than your MPG will only be going down because you will use the gas pedal a lot more to hear that rumble... and its quite addicting.

I wanna fill up every 4 days instead of three. its not a money issue its an annoyance.
As for that rumble, in my tibby i get the best rumble from 2k to 3k then shift. which is perfect for MPG.
