At least the f-body twins of the last gen Camaros and Firebirds had different skins otherwise the GMC/Chevy twins look too much alike.

What's the deal with Chevy making the bowtie emblem so damn BIG. It really messes up the front end of the 2013 Malibu.

Your info is wrong.
Actually, my info is right. The Colorado/Canyon may return in 2014 as a 2015 model, but for now it's gone.

The Tacoma (in my opinion) isn't a direct competitor to the Ranger. It was always a more upmarket product, and the base models are pretty rare. In fact, personally, I haven't seen a plain-jane 2wd regular cab Tacoma live since the late nineties.

They're jumping two years. And yes, it's pretty unusual.

To distinguish it from other Korean cars?

You are actually right, and the funny thing is that the Malibu is a class size down so the fact that it just appears to be so big isn't a good thing.

And for the record, here are the Koreans and for reference the Fusion as well.

Not as much as you might think. Kia did the exact same thing with the Sportage and the Sorento. Both vehicles skipped two years between generations.

Thanks for the heads up. I didn't know about this car. I had narrowed my choices down to the new Fusion and the new Accord. Based on currently available info, this car looks competitive and possibly better.

Here also a pic of the new Mazda6 interior.
Nicely executed interior.

Except for the screen.

It looks tacked on.
