I don't have GPS, but everything else works fine since the update with MFT. I have 17k miles and the oldest focus build date on this site feb 2011, so mine should have had every issue, but doesnt.

Mine is a April build I believe, 2011, and I should have every single issue and more so.

Hell, every time I went to my dealer just to get ST/Fusion info they assumed I came in for warranty work and they were pleased when I said nope, don't need it.

Even my dad would ask if I had gone and done the TSBs on the DCT and is happily say no need, it works fine and he would drive it and agree.

Every option except 18s with handling pack.

First model year cars always drop like bricks. First year cars that are fully loaded don't fare we at all.

This isn't some new phenomenon. Please look at depreciation on higher end cars after a year and bask in the ridiculous savings you can have if you hold off. I saved 6 grand on mine by getting a used example with 8500km. Hell, given that mine was used and adapted to another drivers behaviors should've annoyed me but the computers adjusted quick and kept things fine.

My only complaint was low speed jitter which when you look at all dcts stopped being a complaint.

yes I have it. But no GPS, that is still an extra option

Does anyone else find it amusing how far off track this thread has gotten, but, also, how two of the more annoying posters (MyThIc3LiTe and B-lou) are arguing like children?

Besides the DCT issues:
I may be on the home screen or on the media player screen, I look over at the display and the Sync screen has popped up by its self.
GPS tracks me 200 yards off route. I am driving down the interstate and the vehicle icon shows me off to the side driving thru residential streets.
When getting directions GPS asks me to choose from a list of destinations or street names and it shows me a blank screen.
Phone will not automatically connect and will not stay connected.
MP3 player skips or drops out while playing song.
MP3 player will pop message naming my USB stick and tell me it cannot find it.
These are all intermittent issues and one (phone) seems to have been fixed but I did have an issue with phone again yesterday. The GPS tracking thing has only happened twice. I took delivery 8/01/12. Mine was built 6/12.
