I have yet to determine if the fog-light LED bulb with 126 smaller SMD's would be brighter or dimmer than the larger smd's on a 68 led.
Can't get lumen info on both to compare. |

ZXE on the passenger side and OEM on the drivers side.
Much more dramatic in person. ZXEs look white and OEMs look yellowish.

Ya you can definitely tell but its truely way more noticeable in person. Some cameras must not adjust to the lights as well. All my pics were with my HTC Sensation.

I have those same LEDs in my fogs, you have to open up the holes for them to fit! But they look kinda cool

Are they pretty bright that they can be seen during the day? The idea is I want to make these a DRL. |

No one has mentioned it but one way to make bulbs longer is to put some dielectric grease on the connectors when you install bulbs.
One of the primary reasons for bulb failure and wires burning out in cars is heat caused by corrosion in the connectors. Even if a bulb has a 'waterproof' connector on it, its not really totally waterproof. Ask anybody who drives a 4X4 off road through water, the guys who religiously use the stuff never seem to have problems with their wires. So coating the connector pins with a little dielectric grease helps to reduce or eliminate the corrosion that adds the kind of resistance that blows bulbs and cooks wires.

Yeah they look sorta cool. Wish they were a tad bit brighter. I want to rig these for a DRL. Now that their installed I need to figure out how to either jumper them to be on when the car is running from the underhood fuse box or use some relays and just tap directly into the wiring harness.
