Bluetooth MAP Support added to iOS 6

Yes. I scrolled through the selections and sent "I love you" to my coworker. He was surprised, to say the least.

All I have to add is that I'm using the SYNC system in my '11 SES. No clue if this is much different than SYNC-NON-MFT in the mk3

Hah, well hopefully it is "that's funny" surprised and not "I'm currently trashing your work area" surprised!

I didn't bother with the iOS6 install because I had my Fedex tracking # waiting for me when I got home last night confiriming my 5 will be delivered sometime tomorrow. I figure that one will already iOS6 installed so I can play around with it then on the new phone. Even more of a bonus, I took the day off some time ago for an event that ended up getting cancelled but I still decided to keep the day off. Now I have an entire free day to play around with it at my leisure!

Wow. I can't tell ya how disappointed I was in Apple when I found out they didn't support BT MAP and thus couldn't use what I consider a safety feature of keeping Txt Messages within the MFT display, etc. So now IOS6 is released and the ONLY feature I could give a damn about was BT MAP and now you guys report it still doesn't work!. WTF!. I updated my Iphone 4 to IO6 but my FOFO is in the shop likely getting a new clutch pak so I can't test it until I get it back but seems like my results likely won't turn out any better than those of you who already confirmed it still doesn't work. Obviously MFT and BT Map works for Droid phones so it's gotta be on Apple still. NOT IMPRESSED with APPLE!.

If my company who pays for my service would allow us the option of using Droids. I would have been all over that!.

Thanks for the feedback! I'm eligible for an upgrade in January, iPhone 5 here I come. ;)

Once you’ve downloaded iOS 6, be sure to remove the previous SYNC connection from your phone, perform a Master Reset on the system, and pair it up again.

That app has more BAD ratings than good.. LOL. but now that it's free. I"ll give it a try.
