Head work

Hi guys, Has anyone on here done a port and pollish job on the 2.0 heads? what kinda gains are to be expected from this? and advice not to? the head is coming off my car, and my buddy is a machinist and said he will do it for me , so i figured id see what you guys say. thankyou.

and yes, tom once this is all done, and i save up some, you will definatly be getting a pm, as i was saving for a tune and a exaust before i blew the engine.

On the duratec 2.0 just go with the 2.3 head and intake manifold , you cant port the 2.0 to what the 2.3 is stock

The reason i would port heads on 2.0 is because its not costing anything. i would be using the head on my car now if possible. if i get a new head, i would definatly be looking at the 2.3 head.

If you have some one doing the machine work, I grab a 23 head & enjoy a free breathing motor to begin w/.

remaned 2.3L head for $350 and call it a day.. don't even bother porting it unless your going turbo since the 2.0l wont use it all

where did you find this at? how much do the intakes run? and then i need a tune too? imput on this tom??

they want a "CORE RETURN REQUIRED."
however I would check if they will take your 2.0L or get a POS one that is at scrap yard for $50
