Poll: Who else has made their own Spectre modular intake?

i made a spectre modular intake a few weeks back and i have to say im pretty impressed with it, its a short ram and i ran a shop vac hose from behind the headlight into the end of the cone filter and the other end of the hose is attached to the stock snorkel mounter under the front bumper to draw cold air into the intake..... i think it works great. as for heat soaking....plastic conducts less heat than metal and cools faster so its not really true that the plastic isnt any good it may not be as strong as metal but for a total of 30 bucks can you really complain?

I made one for my 93 Pathfinder because the stock intake had cracked.

ITS AWFUL.
I'm sure you could do it quite nice and quite easily, but mine end up costing quite too much (~$60), took too much time to construct (2 hours to get it "right" and make sure all the PCV hoses were set up and routed properly), and it still doesn't really work all that well.

Save up for a full drop in system like the K&N or Volant.

Just put in a Factory Tuned, and Im loving it so far. Anybody want some old Spectre pieces? ;)
