svt sonic blue paint

Hey, im looking to touch up my SVT bumper with a spray can. I checked with napa and they want $45 to mix a can of SN [sonic blue] is there any place that sells a can of SN for cheaper? also my paint has a purple tint to it in sunlight, Is that diffrent then the SN code?

If you get paint mixed to match the original paint code, it will more than likely not match your car anymore. Overtime car's paint fades. Best bet is to find a local paint shop and have them match it up to your car. It won't be any cheaper though, but at least it will be a perfect match. I go to Diamond Vogel, I don't know if they are only local to my area or not but I get a pint for about $40.00

That is exactly right.
Even if they mix it with the same formula to get the same color it is still different paint.

I've noticed a few conflicting paint code numbers for Sonic Blue. It seems that the SVT has a specific paint code of S1, while all other cars have SN. I'm not sure if there really is a difference between the two paint colors. In any case, your best bet will be to go to the local paint shop anyway.
