iPhone 5 & Sync

So this is more just an open-ended question. Is anyone else as worried as me about how the iPhone 5 is going to react to Sync?

I have this strange feeling that with this new "lighting" connector, I'm going to loose my USB-Sync features and hope that Bluetooth will still be fine.

Why would you lose you USB Sync? It's still a USB connector.

I'm am so worried too. Like, I just don't know what to do with myself. Get the iPhone 5, or keep USB connectivity with my iPhone 4S? What do I do what do I dooooooooo?

Seriously, man, chill. Apple has already said that there will be a USB adaptor so you can still use it with docking stations and such. Research first!

Why would you connect it with the USB cable? Just use Bluetooth.

Simmer down guys, it's still a USB 2.0 cable, it's just a new connector that goes into the phone.

The issue is going to be cars that have built in apple cable built into the car. Car's with USB ports will be just fine.

Ya, but then you're also limited to using the Music app, right? I use Spotify for most of my music from my phone. Bluetooth works wonderfully.

Then again, if all I have to do is leave a cable plugged in to use Spotify through USB...I'm game.

Spotify Is awesome! Seriously, on topic, I haven't had any issues with Bluetooth.

No BT issues here either, but there's no reason changing to a new connector on the iPhone side is going to change anything on the USB side. It's still gonna work as advertised, unlike MFT. lol

Don't be condescending, connecting is not the issue, connections are. Understand the purpose.
And why would I need an adapter, it comes with a usb 2.0 cable.

"I am afraid the new connector might not work for all cars as many 30 pin car adapters use the analog signal from the 30 pin connector for audio and usb for the control signal. The new 8 pin connector is purely digital and if you look at the specs from Apple it does not seem to support analog audio out.

This is going to be a huge pain point for some who expect the new phone to work with their current car adapters like BMWs or Audis. It will probably take a while for people to catch on, but I expect there to be a lot of disgruntled iPhone 5 owners after they realize that the new phone does not seemlessly integrate with their car the way their old 4s, 4 or even first gen iPhone does."

Bluetooth will probably be fine, but Bluetooth can not send high audio bitrate, so USB will be a higher quality source when listening to music. Also it's nice to have the music info on the screen over USB.
