Sucks you havnt enjoyed your car!

With that being said, +1 JAX, sonic, and Dyn. My advise to you B-Lou is to sell it. I mean one of us "fanatics" will love the crap out of it!

You could always buy a Chevy. Then when it breaks you'll be able to blame a car accident on not just the car but Obama as well.

OK guys..... nothing useful is coming from this thread right now. Just forget all the crap that's going on and stick to the issues.

Please allow those with complaints to post them in here. If anyone continues to bombard the thread with "fanatic" posts, we will have to start handing out infractions until you guys learn proper posting etiquette or we will be forced to close the thread.

This site is for all things focus.... good or bad.

Our heads aren't in the sand. Our cars don't have problems, and if the do/did we have either made Ford fix it, test/design/implement possible solutions, or learned to live with them. We don't whine and complain just because of any inconvenience. Many of us have spent many, many hours trying to research and collect data for you people.

Ford didn't drop the ball. Cars have issues, especially first model year cars. Coming on here to ask questions is one thing. Coming on here for valid problems is one thing. But coming on here to say that you were in an accident that was someone else's fault, but still blaming the car is dumb. Especially when you do it on a site named 'Fanatics'. There's a reason it's not called Focus Whiners/Criers/Complainers.

Just as I told another guy who is having issues- Frustration/Anger is legitimate. How a man handles it defines him.

OK. If there are no problems to report, just move on. I understand how much you guys love your cars and hate how much trouble everyone else seems to have.

If there is nothing useful to add, just don't post. This thread is 73 pages in (for me anyway) and it is the first time I've looked at. No one is forcing you to look, this thread shouldn't affect your personal life and if you love your car, just skip the thread.

There should be no reason for any of this bickering. I understand you guys with issues aren't exactly happy but this is getting to be out of hand. Please consider this another warning.

Hey, remember us? All you guys need to brush up on your Member Rules please or suffer infractions. No personal insults. Period. I don't care if you don't use curse words, it's still the same thing.

I've also frequently requested that people who don't own a 2012 Focus have no real reason to be posting in a thread about "Issues with the 2012 Focus" unless they are offering real help to owners with problems.

You get an A+ for tenacity, but, being tenacious is not always a good thing!

You used to own one of these cars, and so long as you are helping owners- it's ok. Not everyone has problems, but I'm sure that people who do appreciate your input since you've been there.

Yep, and that one will be gone too. I only quoted it here to prove a point. That post makes no point on the topic of this thread. Please keep the thread on topic, or move on to somewhere else. This thread is for people, like yourself, who have problems that they want to solve. We have Ford Customer Service reps on here who will help people who want to be helped. We'll even defend you if all you want to do is complain. We won't let you continue to be argumentative intentionally, nor post your disgust about the staff putting the thread back on topic. This is not the first time this thread has drifted off, but there is a lot of information in here to help people who are looking for help. That's what the site is all about, and in this post above, you are not helping anyone.

I'll bring that up to our Ford Customer Service Representative. She will take your VIN, your dealer, and give them a call. A call from corporate makes dealers act right if they are not acting right. You can also try PMing "FordIVTteam" which are the people who can help you the best with My Ford Touch Problems.

Once again, your posts were deleted for being argumentative, non-informative, and off-topic.

I just got my Focus back from the auto body shop. I took it on a long test drive and I am happy to say that even after $7000 worth of front end collision damage the car performed as well as before the accident. The DCT was flawless, the steering excellent, and over all handling like it just came out of the showroom.
Seems I will suspend thoughts of getting rid of it lest some hidden problem shows up.
