2012 5-speed - engine/drivetrain shudders when car is shut off

Does anyone else have this going on?

The entire drivetrain/engine shudders or 'wiggles' when I shut the car off.

It's not like it's dieseling or detonating, but it's like something is loose?

This thing is becoming more noisy, buzzy, and clunky than a first-gen Kia. I guess I got spoiled by my first three Foci.

my a/c whines for a few seconds after shutoff.. could it be that?

No, mine does that too, I think it's the fans cycling down.

This is a noticeable wiggle/rattle + noise.

wow that sucks. Mine recently got a new buzz at high speeds. need to make sure it isn't some change rattling.

You may have a broken motor mount. or it is damaged.
The bottom one is pretty flimsy.
Some other posts on how some mazda? mount or aftermarket one of billet fist and really solves the problem.
My motor shakes more at idle than i like when cold.... But it is not enough to worry about.
Though IF i had any issues I would just spring for the billet bottom motor mount.

Yeah, the MazdaSpeed3 mount & bolt is $42, shipped. I'm going to spring for that after my next paycheck, it looks like an easy install as well. If that doesn't solve the problem, then I'll take a closer look at the other mounts.

I have a MS3 mount with inserts and I still feel like there is a lot of un wanted drivetrain movement. I may take out the battery to take a look at the transmission mount.

When I undid the rmm on my last car it took another guy pushing the engine with all his strength to move and line up the engine... this car I was able to hold the engine with one hand and put the bolt through with the other.... weak mounts to say the least.
