day time running lights

Has anyone had the daytime running lights in the grill installed? I saw them at the dealer and thought they looked pretty cool but they said it costs about $550 for parts and labor to install them! Ive been looking for them online and thinking about installing them myself, if i can find them.

Shouldn't be too hard, just wire the LEDs to your sidelights. I'm going to do it soon. Should cost about 20-30 dollars.

Might not be the ones he is talking about.

There is a set that replaces the existing pieces that flank the middle, those cost 300 or so I believe because you get new trim pieces.

Ah yes, well I plan on whacking something like this http://www.amazon.co.uk/White-Univer...7319593&sr=8-1 onto those side grills.

Of course they would be flush mounted to look pretty :)

Bought it on truckfancy.com. Took me 45 minutes to install. Use discount code CTF52 and the final price will be $269.25.
