Mileage

Just to add to my last post and to my displeasure with this car, I have never got more than 30 mpg. Trips at 55-60 mph and no a/c. City driving is 26 to 28 mpg. Not bad, but not as advertised!

Also, when traveling at about 45 mph and the light turns red in the distance I let off on the gas and the car seems to decererate like it was in a lower gear. There is no "free-wheeling or "coasting". Tapping the brake allows the car to "coast" but I think this transmission braking is affecting my mpg. A normal automatic does not do this, nor does a normal "stick shift".
