You might not need auto or remote leveling in NA, but might you need to control the leveling function somehow? Not sure if you could rig something up, but I figure there aren't the normal type of manual screw-levelers... motors are likely in the headlight housing already.

You'd want to level them at least once when they're installed, I would think.

I did not know about the shutter but I did think that what was what happened when I hit the High Beams. As far as the auto-leveling, I mentioned that because someone said about a BMW feature and I don't think my car has that since it has the manual leveling screws which effect both High and Low beams. The LED's bulbs I used were not in the rear which my car already has but in the front. I guess I did not explain that to well. I installed Switchback LED bulbs and they have to use the resistors or you get that Hyper Blinking. I left the resistor unhooked on one side and tried it out and it did do that Hyper Blinking thing and my sequential tail lights actually quit working sequentially and just would blink all bulbs together.. I don't know about the cruise control as I have never heard that mentions on the GT500 forums but I will look into it.

Here is a link to the Switchback LED blinker bulbs.

Thanks for the info

Bad-ass pics...front and rear. The HID's on my 2004 euro SVT were an additional $1000...if these are cheaper I am in. Those rears look cool at night.

There was a member who found HID's for a Focus and I think that they were around 1600.00+ each side. As far as the seats, Ford Racing has Cloth Recaro seats like the 2012 Mustang Boss 302 Laguna Seca for 2995.00 with free shipping. I know we don't have Mustangs but if Ford Racing is offering them for the Mustangs, maybe in the future, they will offer them for the 2011+ Focus's if there is enough interest in them. You members may want to email them to let them know if you would want to get them.

LED discussion is a bit off-topic but I can tell you this for certain with my 2002 Focus:

Installed LED replacements for the 194 bulbs in the HMSL and for the license plate light bulbs. Worked fine, no issues.

Bought some LED replacement bulbs for the taillights after the housing overheated and the incandescents were burning out every few months. Replaced taillight socket at same time.

Cruise control quit working - no indication why - just nothing happened when you pressed the button. Suspected the brake light switch and ended up destroying it, but was able to rebuild it. Swapped tail-light and turn signal bulbs. Cruise control worked fine again, but turn signals hyperflashed.

Load Resistors would have taken care of both problems, but need to be mounted to metal and away from plastic and not much of that near the tail-lights and more effort than I wanted to get into, so ended up going back to standard bulbs.

This is a Focus specific issue?

I changed my Veloster to full LED in the back and I've had no housing issues, no excess heat from my resistors, no cruise control issues what so ever.

As far as the resistors go, I got mine from VLEDs and they came mounted on a metal bracket so I just used some 3M and stuck them to the assembly itself

Not necessarily Focus Specific issue.

The hyperblinking is pretty common for a number of cars.

The cruise control issue is more isolated - not sure if it applies to the newer gen Focuses even. I suspect a burnt-out bulb would cause Cruise to stop working also, but I don't think that is spelled out anywhere.

On the load resistors - most of that came from superbrightleds.com website. I suspect they would have solved the issue, but it was more complex and expensive than I cared about.

Yea, I meant the cruise issue.

I tried installing LEDs on the front but since it is a all in one connector to the assembly I gave up till I find a wiring diagram so I don't accidentally install a resistor to my low beams...
