I connect my water/meth nozzle onto the intake for the SC. I just tapped one of the vaccum ports w/ 1/8 npt threads and screwed it in. That way it is after the throttle body but, before the SC.

can you guys get the pictures back up? i just purchased a JRSC for my SVT and i'm considering going with WMI myself. i dont have it yet. literally on its way in the mail. im trying to order everything at once so i can install all at once and tune with tom!

So Tom, what do you think, should the port for the w/m be before the SC or after. I also heard that the W/M will damage the coating on the sc blades.

Are you guys just adding wmi without a tune to help lower IAT or are you getting a tune for w/m? Just by adding w/m will lower IAT but will also change air/fuel ratio which will make the car run slower due to it running rich. An example,
I've ran w/m on my other turbo car and my air/fuel ratio went from 11.8 to 10.2, ran slower until I adjusted the air/fuel and added timing.

I have done hundreds of Hrs and never seen WM drop a WOT air fuel 1.6 points , if this did happen then you had far to much WM going in and effecting your air fuel gauge and performance
I will NEVER tune the engine / fueling to run water meth , In my opinion this is the most dangerous thing you can do , if the
Tank runs out of meth
line comes loose
jet stops up
fuse blows
turn on switch doesnt work


You will loose an engine faster then you can let off , tuning for WM in my opinion is foolish , use it for safety and it works ok

How many times have you had that happen Tom?
Because all those are preventable.
In the year and a half I've used w/m, I've never had an issue and I push the limits. 58mm turbo 17psi with 35 degrees of timing air/fuel at 11.7 no knock.
All my other buddies and people that run it never had issues with w/m.
If its hooked up correctly, you won't have a problem with it. The kits now are very well designed.

How are you going to prevent the jet from stopping up (11 times), wire from coming (3 times)loose , WM from running out when your out cruising (5 times) , micro switch/electronic psi device that turns it on (5 times) line rubbing a hole in it (4 times) , pump failure (2 times)

That just the cases and round # of people that lost engine that just I know over the years from turbo , high compression , Diesel , SC , boat engines over the years I have been playing with WM on customers cars , none of which I installed because I dont use it

Never tune for WM , use it for safety and to cool the charge and your fine , tune for it and at some point you will loose an engine

Then you were obviously doing something wrong because everyone I've ever talked to about it has said tune for it and these articles say so as well.

As it says in the above post, you are risking detonation and catastrophic engine failure because of added timing, boost, and leaner fuel trims. But that is what wmi is for, so you can run those things on pump gas. The benefits outweigh the risks tenfold.
