I hate when people stare at my car... I guess I'll keep looking for a lip then

The girlfriend always asked me why everyone stared at my last focus and I was like because it's a focus! Now they stare at this one, I think they just have problems now lol. I guess because we try and make ours different not to stand out but for personal pleasure or preference.

@Twenty did you order the lip from states side or is there a place in Canada we can shop for this?

I ordered from Downforce directly since I was getting this ahead of its release. Downforce does have distributors in Canada, though I believe they're only going to offer this kit for sale from themselves.

At yesterday's event I was able to have both cars present, thanks to my father for acting as the second driver after a last-minute family emergency meant my friend couldn't take the Grand Prix for me.

Leading up to the event I was making sure the Focus would be fully detailed and looking its best for yesterday. I also wanted some new changes, as you've already seen with the engine cover and filter. On Friday one of my favourite shops got in some new shift knobs though, and they happened to be the exact colour I was wanting to change to.

On Saturday I wandered over and grabbed one as a final, last-minute change. With the car sporting teal/burple accents (interior accent lighting, lug nuts, center caps, decals) I wanted the shift knob to match as well. I grabbed another Blox 490, this time in Torch Blue. Below is it next to the Neo Chrome knob I've been using since December. (Maybe time to change the colour of the door trim?)

I have the neo chrome one now too and was thinking about buying the blue one :)

They are great, and it's sure a quick way to change up the look of the interior. I may grab a non-metal one for winter though, we'll see.

Today's random picture, since this is the picture/project thread. I had to stop by the university today to grab books, since my classes start on Monday. A friend of mine was at work, I noticed when I saw his car in our car club's usual parking area. Soon we'll all be parking here again as it keeps us away from everyone else.

Been browsing these forums for a few weeks now, but after reading this thread, I had to make an account to congratulate you on this build. No exaggeration when I say this is probably my favourite Focus I've seen. Very clean, love the look, and looking forward to future updates.
