Where did it ever say the MS3 had adaptive HIDs? My 08 MS3 GT HIDs certainly (to my knowledge) didn't adjust brightness according to ambient light... in addition to that, the Focus lights are great, but the MS3 HIDs were still better, they had a decent cutoff, they were a bright white, and had a wider visibility cone.

Just my opinion I guess, but if they were cheaper I would easily swap out for OEM HIDs on the Focus. One of the many things about my MS3 that I miss.
