aftermarket stereo for 10 focus questions.
Currently I'm running my amp and subs off the stock stereo. i like the factory look but i won't lie i want more. I've seen the dash kits so i can install an aftermarket deck. my question is about the display screen on top of the dash. does it essentially become useless when you go after market or will it work. i don't want it to be blank and if that would be the case i will just stay stock or have my good friend who has insane wiring and computer skills design me something. any help is appreciated.

it will just display "Ford Focus" with the factory headunit unplugged. If you have sync you can use a special harness to retain the sync feature and will retain the screen functions with that.
