Haha, there are so many options! I can't believe how dumb people can be. But then again, I've never had a stuck pedal, but I can't imagine that it would take me longer than a second to figure out a game plan to bring the car to a safe stop.

I thought the same.I was watching the news and the lady claimed it wouldn't turn off the shifter wouldn,t move out of drive and she put the e-brake on.What she was told to do was lift up the gas pedel with her foot then hit the brake and thats what stopped it.Is that a KIA?

my dad had the throttle stick on his supercharged Pontiac Bonneville. first thing he did, shut it off and pulled over. starter the car and it bounced of the rev limiter. went and disconnected the battery for 10 min. tried again car ran fine. he sold the car a few months later.
some people are so dumb and common sense isn't so common. |

I'd love to know why the gear selector 'wouldn't move'. Drive-by-wire components bought from the lowest bidder is the primary problem here, but stupidity is running a close second. No car is going to run away with me. Nnobody should sit back and allow that to happen. "I've tried everything". BS.
