only low boost with powerworks sc help please
hi guys i need some help with my powerworks supercharger.
its fitted to an 2 liter black top zetec. today i hat it to a live mapping and result the was very bad it made only 3,4 psi boost and 190bhp.
the powerworks kit is new and was never fitted before and should make 13 psi.
the belt is fine and there are no air leaks on the charger.
can anyone tell me where the problem is?

Bypass valve is stuck open. Pull the blower off and see why it wont shut.

What live mapping are you doing , a pis poor tune will do this as well

It was the Bypass Valve now its working fine.

I had it on the dyno because i couldnt find an tune for the powerworks in Germany.
And when you see that engine makes 190 bhp with this minimum of boost im sure that it will make with the full 13 psi much more then the 230bhp from the powerworks tune.

I bet it felt pretty good with 190hp. Thats 50hp more than stock.

Thats only with 3.4 psi
