Keyless Entry on the Titanium
When we purchased the car last June, I also paid the extra 80$ for a keyless entry. I had it painted to match the car and when I went to install it, I was told by the Ford dealership that with the push button start, the keypad would not work. Does anyone have a titanium with the keyless entry? If so, how did you get it to program. I tried even after ford told me I couldn't do it and I could not figure out how to program it.

If you have push button start you already have keyless entry. As long as you have the fob in your pocket putting you hand in the handle will unlock it and touching the square on the handle will lock the car. No need for a keypad.

The keypad should still work. It works on my parents titanium escape. It's just a tad unnecessary since you have the fob.

A bit redundant since Titaniums already have push button and proximity key

It still works. I've read of a few people on this forum that have got it, as well. No idea how it programs or anything, but I know it works.

All you people and your fancy, multiple entry options.
REAL Focus owners keep the drivers window down and jump/slide into the car General Lee-style. Tim |

Well, adding a keypad is just increasing the redundancy

I tried this a year ago and it does "NOT" work with IA and PB start. Do a search and look back in about Aug-Sep 2011. I wound up using the keypad on my wife's Escape Limited.
If someone found a way to make it work, I've never seen them post anything on this forum about it.
