^^ I started off simply walking long distances outside and bought myself some 20 pound bells that you can do a lot with. Eventually I started to jog.
I have a gym at my condo now, so things are a bit different but I lost 50 pounds simply running and doing the 20's.

Not to knock what these guys are doing, but juicing isn't very good. Sure you lose weight, but you also lose a lot of muscle mass when cutting so drastically. The best way to lose weight is to calculate your TDEE (Total Daily Energy Expenditure). Basically how many calories you body uses daily, and then eat about 300 calories under it. It's very important to lift weights while cutting to maintain your muscle. If you don't, when you lose all that weight you'll be what people call "skinny fat". If you lose weight too quickly you'll have a lot of loose skin and probably hate the way you look even more than before in some cases. That's why slow, steady, consistent weight loss is best. 2-3 pounds max per week if safe, but aim around 2 if you want your body to adapt well and give time for your skin to shrink up so you don't look skinny fat.

If you don't eat much vegetables (it's better) but you should take a multi-vitamin as well. Helps overall.

The only good thing about being your weight, is that you have lots of muscle under the fat from carrying it around. So just google TDEE, calculate what you need and eat under it. You'll lose weight no matter what.

I'm 6 foot even about 250 lbs.

I think my main problem is night eating. I eat when I'm watching TV at night. Chips, etc. I don't keep chips in the house anymore due to them being gone in two days. I started that juicing thing but I couldn't stick with it...the juicer is just a PITA to clean up, not to mention the sheer amount of food stuffs you go through just to make a teeny bit of juice.

I was (until recently) addicted to energy drinks. I simply could not function without having one everyday. I would get really bad headaches and would just crash at 3-4PM if I didn't have one. I cut those out cold turkey. It sucked for the first three days, then it got better. After doing that I attempted to cut out soda altogether, including diet. That is/was more difficult. I have a soda essentially every other day. We're talking one 12 oz can is all. I eat fast food 2-3 times per week, but I am really trying to cut that down to once a week at most.

Recently I've started riding my bike for 13 miles a day. I'm planning on doing that 4-5 days a week alternating with walking on the other days.

My TDEE is 3292 so I should shoot for about 3,000 calories a day, correct.

By my figuring I feel like I need to lose about 50 pounds to really feel good. I think it's doable, with some encouragement of course. Hope I can count on FF for that...

It sounds corny, and it's sort of tedious but download the app called Lose It!

It tracks all your calories for you and tells you how many you have left to eat that day. It also figures out what a healthy number of calories you can eat is based off age, weight, how much you want to lose and time frame. I did it when I was cutting weight and it helped a lot.

It can record exercise too, but I never did because then it tells you you can eat more calories, which just makes you maintain.. not actually keep the burnt calories off.

This is me a 217 I don't think there's a lot of skin still a lot of fat in my stomach
Once I get the balls to step back into the gym I think it will all go away
I'd rather have a little loose skin than 80 pounds of fat!

Yep ....perty much....Did have a couple of salads on vacation and some grilled salmon. But took 2 gallons of juice & water....did find a place that would do egg whites with veggies...it was tasty!! Still making mostly green but this week started doing beet's, green apples, lime...not bad at all !! Mostly the green is spinach, greenapples, cucumber, lemon. Did start using some ESA protein powder with my banana & pinapple smoothie...that is my reward doing it frozen is like icecream...
