Sure, she's not fit for totally bombing past everyone on the highway, but for a verra enjoyable commute and weekend trips she's amazing. Looks sweet too ;)

Dragged a big ol' ram today from a stop i
On the highway. he had me for the first few feet, then I passed him at the top of second, he was at my door till about 105 then I burnt him. It felt awesome, the guy pulled up next to me after I slowed down and gave me a thumbs up. Its not a racecar, but at high rpms this car zips. And at 125 it doesn't even sway. (I don't usually drive in this manor)

Thus, in the last couple months I did my research—a lot right here at Focus Fanatics—and searched for the Focus that I wanted with my exact specifications. It's amazing in this day and age how you can do a chat at the Ford site, tell them what you want (SEL, 300A package, etc.) and they'll find multiple locations of the exact car. There were two in Michigan and one in Minnesota. And to top it all off, when I went into my local dealer the salesman did a great job of being honest with me on all of the pricing along with doing the trade with a dealer 250+ miles away to get me the car I wanted for a reasonable price along with the current 0% interest Ford (and every other car company this time of year) is offering to get rid of the 2012s since the 2013s are coming.

So, I'm a happy new Focus owner and being that this is the thread for "LOVING my Ford Focus" I had just had to pop in and say "Whoo-hoo!"

First post here.... I love my 2012 Ford Focus SEL sedan. I enjoy reading everyone's comments and like some of the others, I picked out my Focus after driving it as a rental. It only took two days and I was hooked. It is a great car that feels like a sports car and looks like a European car. I never enjoyed driving as much as I do now. I even catch myself looking at the car's reflection when passing by storefront windows.

I am very happy with my choice. :) Next I am looking into tinting my windows a bit.

Hey guys.. first post on here. Was in a bad accident a couple weeks ago and my 2011 Nissan Sentra was totalled. My local dealer (used cars) had a few focus' in stock and I took a few for a drive. The car is VERY sweet. I ended up picking a SEL up and fell in love with it. Its got current technology and makes driving fun now. I have a long commute and I can now enjoy every second of it, even if im stuck in traffic. Thanks Ford! :)

Purchased my 2012 Focus S less than 2 weeks ago. My build date is 7/22/12. The last day 2012s came off the assembly line. The trans was a little clunky, but it has calmed down dramatically since I put 1100 miles on the car. So far I've put in cruise control, auto lights, an armrest, and a K&N filter in my car.
I love this car! Gets great gas mileage, handles curves like a sports car, and looks great. This is the first Ford I've owned and I've had many cars. I hope this car will last me a long time.

@hyp3rion: very nice Euro Focus! You said it was an '11, but it sure looks like my American '12. Did they release the new body style in Europe a year earlier than the US (I mean, I realize that the Focus is German-born and -bred, but...)?

Well yes and no, since the 2012 was released here in 2011, technically they were both released the same year afaik, but the European ones were called by the correct model year for the calendar year.
