I used a porter cable 7424 xp with 4 inch soft or fine polish pad and a fine polish then protected it with s product called opti coat 2.0 it's similar to an additional clear coat that can be buffed off and is super hard to scratch.

Ya it's not to hard just need to find that touch learn products and technique and anyone can do it. Go to autogeek.net and look for porter cable polisher starter kits watch some of there videos and start working on your car that's how I started and I detail cats as a side Job to finance my hobby.
