Lol, Ti-Stick is good peoples I'm pretty sure that this is a bit more of a theatrical indulgence than an actual attempt to trade his car in on a Kia.

Though I have heard that the Kia has excellent steering wheel control placement

You mean awful steering wheel control placement and a cheap and chintzy interior. I sat in one at the auto show this year ( a forte coupe or sedan) with that specified steering wheel layout and it wasn't very nice. Lol.

It's the first model year of a new platform, if you think it's going to work perfectly you're gonna have a bad time. If you want something relatively problem free buy a model that's been on the market for 3-4 years, most of the kinks will be worked out but only at the expense of more modern technology.
