SVT front grill options
Looking for front grill options for my SVT. I've got a pair of HID's to install, but want to be able to lose the existing grill and turn signals at the same time. Seems that the euro style grill is hard to find, and expensive. Most of the aftermarket grills seem obnoxious...anything out there that looks fairly close to the euro-style grill, but doesn't cost $400?

Here's one option. I bought this used so I don't have all the information for it but I'm pretty sure it's called a Type-RS grill. I tried searching for more info on it but can't find any of it anymore but I'm pretty sure it costs about $100 new. Hopefully someone else can give you more information on it because it's a good option IMO.

No, that's still not it. Mines made out of metal, not plastic, but that one is another great option if buying new.

You are going to have to cut a notch at the top center right where the hood latch is, since this one uses a Euro lock it wont allow you to open the hood without a little extra room. It also didn't come with an emblem, I went to a junkyard and got a rear emblem since it's bigger than the front and 3M taped it on. It fits perfect with these slight mods and you wouldn't notice the emblem difference unless you were looking underneath.

If there are, they're most likely custom made. Someone had made a couple one-off upper grills with no turn signals that matched the honeycomb of the lower grill. The most common match up was just the euro upper grill, they looked close, but not identical.

Yeah, found a euro grill in the FS section, gonna grab that instead. I'm not terribly interested in fabricating my own lower grill, either to match that aftermarket one, or to match the SVT honeycomb...
