Yes. You can replace the pistons without removing the motor. There is a lower crankcase/windage tray/girdle (or whatever you want to call it) that you have to remove that's above the oil pan. It's not that hard to do though.

Wow thanks tom, what forged pistons would you recommend for a build like this with stock crank also I would like to mention this would be my daily driver

And all I wanted was there opinion and wich road I should take, but really guys all of you Focus Fanatics are Awesome and I say Thankyou all. |

Well if u go with oversized pistons ull need a re bore thou obviously. Its like having a new block again :)
