If you go to the focus-power section there is a DIY kit in a sticky , there is a good list of needed parts there and I sell the DIY kit which is all the hard to find stuff like piping that fits properly

check out the roush kit in the BST. it is the cheapest best and most complete kit to come through in a long time. ill rephrase. not the BEST kit but definitely the biggest bang for your buck kit to come through in a very long time for a very affordable price.

what you need for a basic turbo kit

turbo manifold
turbo
intake piping that goes to the turbo
piping from turbo to intercooler
intercooler
piping for intercooler to MAF tube
MAF tube
piping from MAF tube to TB or a coupler to mate the MAF tube directly to the TB
silicon couplers for all the piping
oil feed and drain lines
fittings for the lines
a way to tap into the engine oil for the oil lines to and from the turbo. most commonly a tapped oil pan
big very good flowing air filter
bigger fuel injectors. bigger is better if you want more power later. you can make big injectors pump less fuel NOW for less power but you cant make small injectors pump more than their capacity LATER when/if you want more power.
gaskets for everything
waste gate
blow off valve
air/fuel ratio gauge with an analog output
xcal2 or xcal3 for tuning
a TUNE
cords to link from A/F gauge to xcal and from xcal to a laptop for tuning/datalogging

you dont have to have an intercooler if your going to run low boost.
