NO indicator for winshield wiper fluid

Got the TSB for the low washer fluid sensor this week.

Don't really plan on testing it, if I can, but its a nice peace of mind especially in a State that has so many different weather patterns and terrains.

I stopped reading after page three, too much whine, I'm a liqueur guy. Anyway, here my take, ford should make sure their product works before they sell it. Simple as that. Yeah I agree, just add some dang fluid if you've been using it. However with that said ford should not have let that slide. I live in western Pa and our roads have more salt than anywhere, washer fluid is a must.

I just called the dealership to set up an appointment, and again they're telling me my car doesn't have this feature. Where's the customer service guy around here? I haven't seen him in a hot minute and I can't find him while searching.

^So annoying. I'm at 31.5k miles and I still haven't had my car fixed for the IA unlocking issue, my transmission grinding noises, and this (which is really the least of my worries). Does anyone know if this fix is just a reprogramming of the BCM or not? If no, I might be able to kill 2 birds with one stone.

I just want to get everything done before my 36k miles are up.

I've unfortunately had nothing but problems with this dealership. Grease smudges, improperly installed fog bulbs, this crap. The only reason I've been using them is because of their proximity to my home. It's a 35 minute drive to the dealership I purchased from. I recently found out they have another Ford dealership much closer to me so I made my appointment with them. They're a very large, friendly, and helpful family of dealerships and where I will continue to make my Ford purchases (if I continue with Fords).

I ran out of fluid about a month ago without an idiot light to tell me so... Maybe the SE Sports don't have it...?

Or yours doesn't work either, but you could be right. Not sure why they wouldn't include something so simple across all trim levels. I'll trust what the dealership I'm going to Saturday says.

I'm not sure if this helps, but I just went through the Service Manual section on Wipers and Washers (section 501-16) and the Wiring Diagrams for same (cell 81-1) and found no evidence of a washer fluid level system. No sensor, no wiring, or anything.

Although I did find out that someone, somewhere, gets the 'headlight washer' option.

That doesn't make any sense since there are people claiming that theirs work and/or had it fixed.
