the window rolldown would be an excellent feature on those blazing hot days.

You might have better response for this question if you post it in the MkI forum area, rather than the MkIII forum area. I happen to have a MkI, but I can't help you since my locks are manual.

Maybe, this:

I keep waiting for someone to pony up the $25 and see if it works, doesn't work or fries the electrical.

I'm in the "creepy dark secluded parking lot" group - do you mean when I get into my Titanium, I have to ensure I *don't* press the black button or all the doors will unlock?

It's not just pulling on the handle to open the door, right?

Is there any way to change that, so it only opens the driver's side door?

It sounds weird but if you are out of the range of unlocking your doors with the key fob, you can hold the key fob right against your head and it extends the range. Sounds crazy but it works!

Hehehe, that sounds like a VW Jetta feature. I remember my friend showing me how he could do that when he first got his 1.8T seven years ago.

Although the ingenuity in this car is unbelievable I wouldn't be surprised if Ford equipped the Foci with that.

If you hold it against your jaw it'll increase the range because your skull acts as a transmitter.

Hey gang,

For those of you who have ideas on how to change the functionality of the key fob, you should post them to http://social.ford.com. Come back here and post a link to your idea so we can all vote on it!
