2002 SVT headunit

i have a headunit from my 2002 SVT focus.
it doesn't exactly work anymore, something is overheating on it which makes it not work. it'll work great for about 10 minutes, then goes to static. if someone knows how to fix it, its a steal. if you don't use the car with the radio for a week or so, the radio will all of a sudden work for a couple days if you do some 15 minute trips. pretty sure something was overheating. happened during the 100 plus degree weather in july.
if you just want the bar that allows the radio to work, i'll do that if nobody wants it
