I defiantly plan on doing that soon. I'm currently having to replace the whole front end. Got ready to do a CV Axle and found out everything was shot. Strut Mounts, CV Axle and joint, lower control arm and ball joint, Sway Bar End Links, Tie Rod Ends, everything was shredded.

As soon as I finish, I will be on the market for an aftermarket head. Did you decide to do a rebuild? If so, what head did you go with?

My 2000 zx3 (Zetec-E) w/ 5 speed Averages between 34-40mpg driving mostly highway with some city... or it was... It seems to be more thirsty with the A/C on...

I just did a 2300 mile drive almost all fwy and averaged 34.6 for the trip. Ave speed was ~ 68, and I have my tires up near the top in pressure. AC on most all the time. I have a ZX3 five speed, 180k miles and drive pretty conservative.

haven't ordered the head yet, I am waiting for my junk yard engine to be delivered tomorrow so I can get the correct casting # off the head. I plan on going with a rebuild from Ebay, looks like there are plenty to choose from.

I got 25.76 mpg doing some sporty city driving this week and a half.
270ish miles on about 10.7 gallons.
I got high 29s doing conservative highway driving the other week.
A/C was off for most of it.

That really is the key to get awesome mileage.
