Supercharger Maintenance

Does any of you know how much work it is to maintain the supercharger?

Depends on which supercharger your talking about. The powerworks and jackson are self contained and are pretty much maintenance free. The procharger is not self contained and you have to change the oil every 3k miles or so. I've had my jrsc supercharger on for 15k miles and didn't have to do a thing

prochargers are self contained oil change interval is 6k miles

most positive displacement chargers (power works and jrsc) i think its recommended to change the oil ever like 30k-50k miles depending on usage.

vortec is the only none self contained charger and requires no oil changes.

And the oil change is something I could do at home, I imagine.

yes you can do it at home. if you can change engine oil or transmission fluid you can do a supercharger.

you may go threw belts quicker but they will still last a few years
