Lunchbox delete on my 2012 Hatch :)
Yesterday was payday so naturally I worked on my exhaust and intake a little....I cut the lunchbox off and welded a 2.25" pipe in place with a 2.5" exit tip, it looks really damn good, tucked the tip up in the bumper so it looks kinda "stock." I love the sound of my focus now!! Red you are the shit!! Me and one of my mechanic buddies are working up blueprints for a one-off turbo kit and 3.5" straight pipe exhaust...with potential of making a few kits if it is successful!

we are doing a custom flash on the ECU, upgrading the fuel pump, injectors, and custom fuel rail. We are blueprinting our one-off turbo manifold today...I'm at work atm, working on my F/T/S scetches

we are also building a one-off Ram-air intake for temporary use until FI ;) removed the factory intake, built a shroud from 1/4" aluminum with rubber seal for the hood and a 3" intake pipe mounted behind the left grille insert in the bumper, with a K&N cone filter :P. We are designing a collector plate for the new intake pipe for the bumper

Have you cracked the ecu? It is encrypted by default, none of the top tuning companies have cracked it yet, so if you cracked the encryption you could make way more money by releasing the crack for the ECU. If you havn't tried to flash the ECU yet, you might be wasting your time with all of the other things that you are doing.

Havent quite gotten it yet, but as I said this is all blueprint work for now, no immediate applications are being made. Now, if someone gets it first, this is 100% happening :)

If you are messing with the ECU, trying to crack it. Prepare to have your warranty void. If you have the DCT, that Turbo kit won't happen until you swap out the tranny. The DCT as it sits won't deal with the power for very long, probably very briefly. Not to mention the stock compression ratio is to high for a turbo, so that would need to be lowered by boring out the cylinders. Then you would need to get some good forged pistons, good rods, good crankshaft bearings, make sure everything is balanced, new camshafts with new bearings, all new gaskets, bigger fuel injectors, I would get one of those dual engine oil filter setups (might as well since you already threw down the $$$ for everything else), upgrade the cooling system, custom 2.5-3 in. Exhaust. All of this and you have even gotten to the turbo and stuff.
You are talking serious cash, especially since none of this stuff exists for the Focus yet. Everything hinders on one thing, the tuning, which none of the big companies have cracked yet. Then you still have to wait for someone to do the research and come out with a tune for a turbo kit. Might as well buy an ST and call it a day.
