I hope the Carlisle organizers finallyput a pic of a Focus (your RS) on the shirts and show placards...

I better be there!!!

Sorry for the lack of updates but there hasn't been much to put up. I am busy working on all of the wiring and sound deadening which has taken up a lot of my time. (pictures will be posted next week) Also I haven't been able to start on the interior because I have been waiting to buy the RS Shift cables which are now on the way. These must be in place before you can start re installing the dash.

Next week/early following week I will be placing a very large order with Ford (hardware miscellaneous trim, front brake lines, ect) and then progress should move along until I hit the point of coilovers, brakes, and finishing the custom swirl pot fuel system I have been working on.

Updates to come.

Moving along again, soundproofing and electrical well on its way. Still a little more soundproofing to go in the quarters. I really hope the wiring harness for all the rear lights was a direct hookup because it will save me a lot of time!

I would like to make it to the metal frame of the dash then I am going to hold off so I can route the brake lines, fuel lines, main power cable, etc. through the interior.

Also my new shift cables showed up which are specific to the RS shift tower.

There is always going to be something holding me up

Its just the nature of this car and the customization I am putting into it. I'm just trying not to over promise what and when things will get done on it because its always dependent on money and the time I have available.

It is great to see that you are taking the time, and the considerable expense, to do this project the right way, and also your way. It takes dedication, patience, and considerable skill. keep it up.
