Any interest in headlight modifications?

Very interested in this. I miss the projectors in my old Cougar, now those were some pretty headlights.

Okay. So I started to play around with my "Lab Rat" Headlight today. Needless to say, I ran into a brick wall. The shroud I chose is too big, way too big. So I am gonna order another set of shrouds that are smaller and I think they are possibly the only ones that will fit. I do have some eye candy to start to gears in some of the thread followers heads. Don't worry, I am gonna have a instructional thread (with pictures) of what I did, once I have the correct parts and everything is good to go. Here are the pictures of forward progress.

Depending how much you spent on various options and how crazy you got with other mods. Around $400-$450 and possibly more.

I will have a parts list with prices once I make the instructional post and links to where I purchased the parts.

This is awesome! I cant wait till you get the correct sized shrouds so we can see the final result. Looks great so far. Have you considered dremeling into the reflector so you can the the shroud to fit? I have seen some people on the youtubes do that. But if you can get the right sized ones you may as well stick to that.

That crossed my mind. But the shroud is considerably bigger than the reflector, so even if I did do that it doesn't look like the reflector would be able to fit back inside the housing without cutting into that too.

Just wanted to bump this thread. Plus i was curious if you were gonna paint the reflector now that the projector is there. I think it would look pretty sweet with just the higbeams being silver.
