Huh. I always thought the lunchbox delete was done along with the addition of some straight-pipe in its place, so that the exhaust still exited out the back.

You are correct. Because just chopping the exhaust off at the rear resonator allows exhaust gasses to seep up through the hatch and into the passenger compartment.

Not that best thing to do.

yeah i know, but like i said I wasnt there, had the rims, bumpers side skirts ect. but it was white..i think it was anyway. he sent me a bad picture of the rims lol

in wildwood....have seen a 00-04 malibu blue hatch with big crooked exhaust and chrome aftermarket tails, and an 05-07 silver hatch with HIDs, hood scoop, and exhaust
