Where can I get one of those? I have an autozone in my back yard, do I need to go look around for that and some flexible tubing?
It looks like the maf adapter I used when I made my mustang intake.

Outside of Summit and Jegs, O'Reily's Auto Parts (where I got my stuff) and Advance Auto Parts (though I haven't seen these on their shelves) carry the Spectre stuff.

Was hoping to use some of my own cleverness, but I think I'll steal yours instead.

I tried taking the top off the airbox. Was fun for about 5 minutes, then it got old real quick. WOT is the only place it sounds good, and its really loud there. Otherwise, cruising in 4th and giving it some gas did make a terrible noise, like I had a hole in the headers. Even my wife called it ghetto, and she's typically into it when I mod my cars.

Like you, I just want a little more sound. Guess I have a weekend project now.

I yanked-out the snorkle and cut the flap (that sounds like some crazy bad back alley surgery!) yesterday afternoon.
Here's a pic of what the snorkle looks like:

And this is the inside with the airflow splitter:

Still wondering about possible using the snorkle and modding it to accept some flex tubing and a "funnel" of some sort to make it more ram air-ish; funnel mounted in grill opening by the PS whisker?
