Good luck, those pictures still all show the wrong type of key blank, so even though they claim it would work it doesn't look right to me.

That seller is artiway, he is good people, he DOES have the right blank for our cars, I've ordered blanks for my F150, Mazdaspeed 3 and my Focus, quick service and I once got a bad transmitter from him, and he sent a new one by 2 day courier for me at no charge. Do a search for "artiway" on the f150forums.com , high praise for him on there.
He uses that same pic of an old MKIV VW (99-2005 Jetta/Golf) style blank key for most of his adds... doesn't mean a thing.
He even got a blank transponder key for my BMW motorcycle.... very hard to get.

I agree with Suss, http://www.focusfanatics.com/forum/showthread.php?t=289435 that's my original thread where I even posted saying the seller confirmed our style key will not work. Hope it works out tho.

If he is buying from eBay seller artiway, it will be the correct key. Dalbeck, the thread you posted goes to a different eBay seller I have no experience with and can't say if they can get the correct key or not.

sorry been extremley busy at work yes I recieved the key and it is an exact match...the only problem I have is no one around me will cut it :-(

I purchased one of these for my 04, and the remote died last week, pretty much making the key useless.

I went to a locksmith shop and they cut it for me. However, they said they wouldn't guarantee the cut. Yes, it will not fit correctly on a double side machine they use, but I removed the key from the assembly and it fit. Furthermore, they did do a lot of hand filing to make it right. That was a year ago and still my main key and never had a problem. You should see the dealer dudes look at it, like crows seeing something shiny. Search my name for links about how to program both the key and the remote part. Was a pain but worth never having a key tearing your pants or poking you all day.
