+1 to this as well - Anyone know the powers of our supposed "learning" engines.

Hope this is OK to do...saw FSWERKS dyno charts on another form...pretty impressive and seems they have done their homework, they seem to suggest the car will adjust...

The "Learning ECU" has been out sense 1999 that doesnt mean it will make wide open fuel adjustments , the WOT fueling up to 2012 has been a set fuel map for open loop

The 2012 can to a point see and make SMALL fuel adjustments to the WOT fueling from the imformation from the o2 sensor , if this works so well why am I seeing 2012 Foci running in the lean side , these are part of the Fuel corrections not the "learning" part of the ECU , and this WOT target is borderline lean its ment for the ALL STOCK engine not A/F ment an engine moving more air and building for performance , Keep in mind ford does the ECU tuning for STOCK not performance

There are things that are going to need to be turned off in the ECU and a lot of things changed as you mod the Focus , simple air fuel gauge instlled or on a dyno will tell you if your safe with the A/F , then there is still the timing which is aggressive for this compression and 91 fuel

Not to sound completely ignorant, but would any of the European gear work on the 2012 Duratec engine?

Looks to be for the standard Duratec since it lists 2.0 & 2.3 sizes.

Correct me if I am wrong but I think the 2012 motor has dual cam profiles sort of like VTEC. I don't think this will work because like Sonic said it might be for the standard Duratec. Also I believe more people would have known about this already if it worked. Good find though....

The foam part of my filter is ungluing, I need to call FSWerks about it. If they dont replace it, I will just put a K&N cone on.

How loud is it compared to just removing the airbox lid which I did and it was entertaining for 10 minutes which was 10 minutes longer than my wife thought it was cool.
I want the power of an intake but I don't need to let people know I'm coming from a half mile away.

It's noticably louder at higher RPMs. On the border of buzzy, and in fact, I hear the intake more than the exhaust. But nobody says my car sounds ricey.
