White cars look awesome with tint.

I've been looking around for a good tint place. I need something that will block out as much heat and uv rays without interfering too much with electronics. Any particular brands you guys would reccommend? I'm in California so i think I'm only allowed 35% up front, if that.

Not at all. But I've also had my past 3 automobiles done this way. Perhaps I'm used to it? Passengers have never stated it was negatively affected.

30% on all side and rear windows, 50% on the front windshield. I like it, it helps a bit with the heat, but it still gets quite warm in the car without the sun shade so I'll continue to use it. They refused to do more than 50% on the front windshield without a note, and when I asked my eye dr about my light sensitivity she blew me off because they had dilated my eyes and I think she thought I meant then even though I'd told the nurse/ assistant before that it had really been bothering me for awhile before hand.

Had it done on my birthday, which was saturday. It was quite a bit more than I was expecting though as we went with the higher grade tint, but mostly because they also did the windshield which was the single most expensive piece to do.

Its not too dark at night which I like, but I might have gone with 20% instead, but I was worried it would be too dark having seen the sample shades on the glass door.
It still needs to finish drying out and hopefully there's no issues, but then again I'm probably going to be hyper picky.

The one issue I would've had with going too dark is I like being able to see outside the car at night since if you're parked I like to know if somebody is approaching my car or sneaking around it and with 5% tint your hindering yourself along with keeping light out.

30% is not terribly dark even at night, no where near as bad as the 5%-17% that people seem to gravitate towards when they want to drive around in darkness.

I'm not sure how easy that would be, although I did wish they would go with 30% all over, but the 50% on the w/s does help.

20% isn't bad but I've been in a car with 5% at night and I actually felt a little claustrophobic as it was so dark.

I'm not concerned about people lurking in the shadows. If they can't see inside it at night how are they to see what's inside? I don't leave anything in my car for them to take.

Lookin good! I've had dark windows for far too long to not have them. Dark windows on darker cars look exceptional too! (and white ones)
