The only afr I can recall was on Focusboy's dyno I believe, though there may have been another.

Tom said a few months ago that he has dynoed some 2012s and the A/F ratio was lean, I forget which thread it was but I asked specifically, and is the reason I am not doing my exhaust until tuning is available.

I think that thread was Focusboys. If I remember correctly, his AFR at WOT was 13.1.

Target AF should be 12.8 / 12.9 , 13.2 is the MAX 13.1 is pushing it
ALL the 2012 I have dynoed have been borderline lean to lean , even a couple stock Foci and knocking Unless you know what the air fuel is and spark knock I would use extreem caution modding the 2012 Focus Tom

Its easy a wide band air fuel gauge for the air fuel , SCT is working on the tuning for the 2012 that will also come with a way to check for spark knock
You would think that companys would check to see if there product is running lean wouldnt you , or if they cause any spark knock and some do but there not going to tell you , there selling a part not a part with tuning / datalog service , its your responsibility to chack air fuel and spark knock not the compamy selling intakes , headers , cams , SC , Turbos etc Thats why I am here now warning I have seen lean 2012 Foci Tom

Thanks for the heads up Tom. Im definitely going to wait for tunning capability first before I start modding my SEL. This is my first brand new car and im sure as heck not gonna "F" it up because of me being impatient. All good things come with time....

I have a couple questions...I would assume the air/fuel on a carburetor would need to be adjusted, with a fuel injected engine would the computer not make the necessary adjustments? What would the tale tale signs of too lean be, pinging?
